ITANAGAR, Apr 26: Text books for new academic session would be delivered to all districts very soon for further distribution to the students; education secretary-cum-Samagra Shiksha Society/ISSE SPD Dr. Madhu Rani Teotia told participants of a workshop here on Thursday.
She was chairing the state level workshop at state legislative assembly here to formulate 2018-19 annual work plan & budget (AWP&B) of Samagra Shiksha, an integrated scheme for school education. She told functionaries of state project office and representatives of all 23 educational districts led by the DDSEs to prepare realistic and error free AWP&B basing on 2017-18 UDISE data to ensure proper implementation of the scheme as per guidelines, according to an official release.
The Samagra Shiksha/ISSE executive committee is scheduled to meet here on April 30 to approve the AWP&B to be submitted to Union MoHRD for approval on May 7 next.
Samagra Shiksha/ISSE Dy. SPD Nangram Pingkap advised all district level functionaries to seek guidance from the respective state coordinators and prepare the AWP&B as per modal table provided and upload for further appraisal and approval.
